Community First Media, Inc. is publisher of three weekly community papers, located in the
Foothills and Piedmont Region of the Carolinas dating back to 1888. They include two free publications Shelby Shopper & Info, Rutherford Weekly, and one paid periodical Kings Mountain Herald.

Covering Cleveland and Rutherford Counties and portions of Gaston County in North Carolina. Plus parts of Cherokee and Spartanburg Counties in South Carolina.

Our mission is to provide easy, effective, affordable advertising with accuracy, honesty and integrity, and to serve the informational needs of the
community while stimulating a robust local economy.
